Hi, I’m Amy Du
PMHNP-BC, FOUNDER OF KAI INTEGRATIVE PSYCHIATRY
I’m an integrative psychiatric nurse practitioner who believes healing happens when we honor the mind-body connection, trust your lived experience, and work together—as a team—to create a care plan that blends modern psychiatry with whole-person support.
I didn’t come to this work from a textbook—I lived it. I grew up surrounded by mental health struggles and addiction and also faced my own challenges. I know what it’s like to feel lost, to fight for the right care, and to finally find something that works. Medication changed my life. So did yoga, nutrition, and getting to the root of what was going on beneath the surface. That’s why I bring a blended, compassionate, no-judgment approach to every patient I work with.
Comprehensive, Whole-Person Care That Goes Deeper.
At Kai Integrative Psychiatry, we work with those who are ready for care that goes beyond a quick 15-minute appointment and a prescription. Whether you are brand new to mental health care or have tried everything and nothing has quite stuck — integrative psychiatry might be exactly what you have been missing.

Growing up is hard. Growing up with ADHD, depression, and/or anxiety can feel overwhelming, isolating, and exhausting. Girls with ADHD are often overlooked or misdiagnosed because their symptoms don't always look the way people expect. Instead of hyperactivity, you might see a girl who daydreams, forgets everything, cries easily or tries so hard and still can't keep up.
If your son or daughter is struggling in school, pulling away from friends, or just doesn't seem like herself — she deserves care that truly sees her. We work with adolescents ages 10–17 using a whole-person approach that blends medication management, therapy, and integrative tools, so she can start to feel capable, understood, and like herself again.

So many women spend years — sometimes decades — feeling like something is off, without ever getting the right answer. Maybe you've been told you're too sensitive, too scattered, or just stressed. Maybe you've learned to push through, hold it all together, and never ask for help. But underneath the to-do lists and the taking care of everyone else, you're running on empty.
Whether you're navigating a new ADHD diagnosis, managing depression or anxiety, or simply trying to feel like yourself again — you don't have to figure it out alone. We work with women ages 18-25 who are ready for care that treats the whole person, not just the symptoms.

As a mother with lived experience caring for a neurodivergent child, I understand firsthand the weight that comes with this role.
Motherhood is one of the most demanding jobs there is, and when your child has additional needs, that weight multiplies. The worry, the appointments, the emotional labor, the guilt of never doing enough even when you're doing everything: it's a lot to carry. And too often, moms are the last ones to get support.
At Kai Integrative Psychiatry, we see you, not just as a caregiver, but as a whole person who deserves care too. Whether you're navigating caregiver stress, anxiety, depression, or simply trying to find yourself again beneath all the roles you fill, we're here to help you come back to yourself.

For many people, faith isn't separate from healing — it's central to it. If you're looking for a provider who respects and integrates your Christian faith into your care, you've found the right place. Amy brings a compassionate, faith-informed perspective to her work, honoring the connection between spiritual well-being and mental health.
You don't have to choose between your beliefs and getting the support you need. Here, both are welcome.
So much more than just medication management.
Your personalized care plan may include things like:
Collaborative medication management
Root-cause lab testing,
Nutrition coaching
Pharmaceutical-grade supplement recommendation
Supportive psychotherapy
ADHD Coaching
Parenting support
Integrative care coordination.
